Why We Exist

Too many people with disabilities and families encounter barriers in everyday community settings — schools, camps, recreation programs, libraries, museums, workplaces, businesses, and public spaces.

Inclusion Colorado exists to help communities move from good intentions to meaningful action.

Founder Statement

Inclusion Colorado was founded by a registered nurse, community leader, and parent of a child with disabilities who has experienced firsthand the gap between wanting to be inclusive and knowing how to be inclusive.

After years of navigating schools, camps, recreation programs, and public spaces, it became clear that communities need more than awareness. They need practical guidance, education, accountability, and partnership.

Inclusion Colorado was created to help bridge that gap.
